Join Bird TLC's very own Avian Rehabilitation Coordinator, Amy Kilshaw, for a discussion about her time with the Hawaiian Endangered Bird Conservation Program, including her work with endangered endemic birds including the Alala' or Hawaiian Crow, Nene or Hawaiian Goose, and Puaiohi or Kaua'i Thrush. Bird TLC volunteer educational presenter Deanne Sabol and Crawford, Bird TLC's Raven education ambassador, will also provide a short presentation. This event is free and open to all ages. For more information call us at 907-562-4852.
Join USGS Wildlife Biologist and Bird TLC volunteer Lisa Pajot as she discusses the Avian Keratin Disorder study which she has been a part of for several years. Initially observed in Black-capped Chickadees in Bristol Bay and the Mat-Su Valley, the research presented here is a component of a multi-year study combining nesting success, nestling genetics, and the incidence of bill deformities in Southcentral Alaska's wild bird population. Lisa will also provide a short presentation with Kodi, Bird TLC’s Northwestern Crow education ambassador. This event is free and open to all ages. For more information call us at 907-562-4852.
Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of Bird TLC throughout the previous year and our exciting plans moving forward!
Visit with our live education birds and presenters while enjoying hors d'oeuvres, a live and silent auction, and no host cocktails.
All involved are guaranteed to have a fun, educational evening of all things birdie. This is Bird TLC's largest annual fundraiser, so please plan on attending, having a good time, and helping us raise the funds necessary to continue our mission.
Tickets will be available January 2018. If you have any questions about the event, contact us at email@example.com. See you there!
