Avian Adventures Summer Camps for Ages 7 - 12
a unique opportunity for youth to learn about Alaska’s wild birds through interactive activities, bird-inspired crafts, and visits from our Ambassador Birds, all while enjoying the company of other kids who love birds too!

Experience Raptors and Corvids Up Close!
June - August, Fridays at 12:30 and Sundays at 1:00 at Bird TLC
Learn about species-specific behavior and adaptations of birds of prey and corvids
Discover how our avian trainers use positive reinforcement to train the Ambassador Birds
Bonus: Dissect an owl pellet from our Ambassador Owls! (Additional fee)
Each program will feature one or more Ambassador Bird:
Ghost and Frost, Snowy Owls
Echo, Great Horned Owl
Culuk, Bald Eagle
Breland, Peregrine Falcon
Keear, Red-tailed Hawk
Shavila, Black-billed Magpie
Zahra, American Crow
Programs are generally 30 - 45 minutes. They are held outside under a tent so please dress for the weather.
Tickets will be available starting in May.
